Not only is Space-4-Shoots Manhattan’s most affordable fully equipped rental studio for photo, video, and castings, but we are also the only studio that inventively promotes its client’s work and extends their social media reach.

All our studios are 40' long, offering a generous shooting distance and ample working space. We cater to both established and up-and-coming photographers and their clients.

Rental Terms

There’s a 2-hour minimum during the week and 4-hour minimum on weekends (Sat/Sun).
All setup and breakdown must be within the booked time (and not before or after).
After 6 pm is an additional $10 per hour.
Maximum of 8 attendees in single shoot spaces (total cast & crew, and not just at a given time).
Space must be reserved and booked in advance and directly online (no walk-ins). For inquiries, please email space4shootsbooking@gmail.com.
If your shoot is running behind schedule, please ask to extend your booking before the end of the shoot. It will be allowed if there is not another booking in the space. All additional time is in full hour increments.
Space-4-Shoots is a smoke-free and alcohol-free work place.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation more than 7 days before shoot: 100% refund
For cancellation 5-7 days before shoot: 50% refund plus 50% credit towards a rescheduled or future shoot
For cancellation 3-5 days before shoot: 50% refund plus 37.5% credit towards a rescheduled or future shoot
For cancellation 48-72 hours before shoot: 50% refund plus 25% credit towards a rescheduled or future shoot
For cancellation 24-48 hours before shoot: 50% refund plus 12.5% credit towards a rescheduled or future shoot
For cancellation within 24 hours before shoot: 50% refund

Photo: From the list of "Photo:" options, select the number of hours you want to book. A private studio is $55/hour and $412/day (8 hours).
Video: From the list of "Video:" options, select the number of hours your want to book.
Note: It’s 2 hour minimum during the week and 4 hour minimum on weekends.

Seamless Paper

Space-4-Shoots provides 9' wide seamless background paper in various colors (you may request up to 3 colors for your shoot) as well as hand-painted canvas. The hand-painted canvas is not available in Studio 1.

All seamless paper is $5/roll setup plus $3/linear foot clean sweep on the floor. $10/roll for same day setup.

We have the following available: White, Black, Fashion Gray, Canary Yellow, Baby Blue, Coral Pink, Eggnog, Orange, Primary Red, Tech Green, and True Blue.*
